2. Personal data processed
When you contact us through the contact, quote, service and document request forms on our website, or by email, phone or WhatsApp, the following data may be processed:
- Identity: first name, last name
- Contact: phone number, email address
- Customer transaction: company/project name, products and services of interest, request and message content, request date
- Transaction security: IP address, browser information and server logs
3. Purposes of processing
Your personal data is processed to:
- receive, evaluate and complete your quote, survey, service and document requests,
- contact you and inform you about your requests,
- carry out sales and after-sales processes for our products and services,
- keep the website secure and prevent misuse,
- fulfil legal obligations and provide information to authorised institutions.
4. Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK:
- (c) it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
- (ç) it is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations,
- (f) it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
5. Method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically and partly by automated means through the forms on our website, email, phone and WhatsApp.
6. Transfer of personal data
Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be transferred to:
- suppliers from whom we obtain website hosting and IT services,
- our business partners where necessary to fulfil your request,
- legally authorised public institutions and organisations.
Your personal data is not transferred abroad unless the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK are met.
7. Cookies and third-party content
Our website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function; no advertising or tracking cookies are used. The Google Maps content shown on the contact pages is provided by Google LLC and is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
8. Retention period
Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the limitation periods set out in the relevant legislation; it is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
9. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to apply to the data controller to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information if it has been processed,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
- know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
- request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- request deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
- object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
- claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
10. How to apply
You can send your requests regarding your rights, together with information identifying you and in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, by email to info@otkdoor.com or in writing to Kıvılcım Sokak No:14, Sancaktepe / Istanbul, Türkiye. Your application will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
